The Helios Hospital Emil von Behring is located in the green south-west of Berlin in a quiet location in the Zehlendorf district. The most famous shopping street Kurfürstendamm with numerous shopping centers such as Berlin KaDeWe can be reached by public transport or taxi in less than 20 minutes. The Wannsee and Schlachtensee lakes, which are particularly popular among Berliners as excursion destinations in summer, are located very close to the hospital building. In the vicinity of Wannsee is the Pfaueninsel - the former residence of the Prussian kings and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From there you can also reach the historic city of Potsdam, home of the Sanssouci Palace and the Potsdam Conference.
