General Info

Helios Hospital Krefeld is an academic tertiary care hospital affiliated with RWTH Aachen University. Each year, the hospital treats more than 60,000 inpatients and 80,000 outpatients. In addition to the main Helios Hospital in Krefeld, the institution also includes St. Josef Hospital in the Uerdingen district and St. Cecilia Hospital in the Hüls district.

The Krefeld hospital is part of the Helios Rhine-Ruhr Cluster, which consistently achieves some of the best healthcare quality outcomes within the Helios network. For many years, compliance with all quality indicators has remained at around 90%, reaching a new peak of 92% in 2025. Directions to the hospital

Düsseldorf International Airport is located just 20 km from Krefeld, allowing patients to reach the hospital by taxi in approximately 20–30 minutes. The airport is also connected to Düsseldorf Central Station by rail, from where regular regional trains operate to Krefeld. The train journey from Düsseldorf Central Station to Krefeld takes approximately 30 minutes.
