Dr. Kandyba is a certified expert of the German Societies for Interventional Radiology and Neuroradiology. He worked in Osnabrück for almost four years as Chief Physician for Neuroradiology/Interventional Therapy. Initially at the Paracelsus Clinic and later, after the integration of the Paracelsus Clinic as the Neurocenter of the Niels Stensen Clinics, then there and at the Marienhospital. Before that, he was Deputy Head Physician at the Institute of Radiology and Interventional Therapy and Head of Neuroradiology at Vivantes Klinikum im Friedrichshain for almost seven years.
After his medical training in Frankfurt and Boston, Dr. Kandyba first gained experience in internal medicine and surgery in London. This was followed by twelve years in radiology and neuroradiology, most recently as a senior physician at Bonn University Hospital. After further activities in London and Berlin, he was involved in the establishment of a teleradiology project in Frankfurt, including local activities in Brunei.
