Kolařík was born in the Czech Republic and studied at Charles University in Prague, where he also obtained his doctorate. He then worked at German and Czech hospitals, including the Heart Center in Dresden. In 2014, he became a specialist in thoracic surgery at the Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in Prague. He comes from the III Surgical Clinic of the Motol University Hospital in Prague, the largest hospital in the Czech Republic. At his last stations in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, he was significantly involved as a tutor in the implementation of robot-assisted interventions in thoracic surgery.
