In radical prostatectomy, the entire prostate gland is removed along with the seminal vesicles. The consequences of such an operation and how to deal with it is a very personal and individual experience, which is influenced by various factors.

PD Dr. med. Tobias Klatte took over as Chief Medical Director of the Urology Clinic at Helios Hospital Bad Saarow on December 1, 2023. He has extensive clinical experience in open, laparoscopic and robot-assisted urology. The previous Head Physician of Urology, Dr. med. Steffen Hallmann, is primarily moving to Fürstenwalde to work in private practice, but will also remain at the Urology Clinic as a part-time Senior Consultant.
