The Helios Amper Hospital Dachau is located to the north of Munich, the capital city of Bavaria. With 13 specialist departments and a modern 24-hour emergency room, the hospital provides a comprehensive range of medical care. As a teaching hospital for LMU Munich with over 450 beds, it is also ISO 9001:2008 compliant in many areas. The departments are organized into medical centers that deliver targeted treatment to patients suffering from particular illnesses and the centers are characterized by close cooperation between experts from different disciplines and facilities. Region
With over a millennium of history and a renowned art and cultural scene, the former artist colony of Dachau is a mini capital of culture for the northern Munich area.
The numerous sights of its quaint old town provide good reasons to stay a while. Historical town houses, Dachau Palace and Gardens (the former summer residence of the noble Wittelsbach family), St. Jakob’s Parish Church, numerous museums and galleries and wonderful views over Munich surprise and delight, while diverse shopping options, cultural events and regional and international cuisine round out any visit. Dachau is also an ideal base from which to explore its charming surroundings.
Located close to Munich Airport, with a light rail (S-Bahn) line connection to Munich and convenient bus links, Dachau has excellent transport connections too, making it extremely attractive from a business standpoint and the most popular area to live north of Munich. Downtown Munich is just a 20-minute S-Bahn ride away, while the airport can be reached by car in less than half an hour.
