Radiosurgery is an up-to-date method of treatment of small lesions with distinct outline or vascular abnormalities (arteriovenous malformation = AVM) using high-energy photon beams. As a rule, single-use non-invasive and millimeter-precise therapy of a tumor is maximally sparing for the surrounding healthy tissues.

The Helios Hospital Erfurt cooperates with the center «Cyberknife-Zentrum Mitteldeutschland» (Cyberknife Center of Middle Germany), as it is situated on the site of the clinic «Helios Clinic Erfurt» since autumn 2012. The spacious and elegant bathroom, equipped with a ground-level shower, a high-quality washbasin, a toilet as well as a bathrobe, towels, a hairdryer and a selection of cosmetic products, underlines the hospital's pleasant atmosphere. A minibar is at your and your visitors' disposal to provide you with beverages and small snacks.

The perfectly preserved original city centre accentuates the beauty of Erfurt. Furthermore, Erfurt has an outstanding infrastructure. The airport, the ICE rail as well as the motorway link offer a perfect arrival for tourists, businessmen and visitors from all over the world.

Small gardens as well as various parks and green areas create numerous green belts that encircle the city. Many people take pleasure in the peace and quiet, read a book or just listen to the birdsong.

Hospitality

There is no need for a car in the centre of Erfurt. You can choose to experience Erfurt by tram or see the city by a horse-drawn coach.
